Mana vs Boaby *mizueyes777

painted in photoshop cs5. Another piece on the story Nova. a fight between MAna and boa. had friends pose for this piece. the clothes i designed myself. mana and boa are my own OC's. im getting a lot better at painting scales and magic effects. It was very interesting designing the magic effect on the p;iece cuase i had to paint many layers of colors that i made by the smudge tool and lots and lots of dots. i made many textures but the only texture that isn't mine is this one.

i love the poses here! the girl's pose is good, but her left arm (viewer's right arm) looks a little skinny near the shoulder and her elbow is a tad pointy. the character clothes designs are really well done; that's one of the more difficult things for my, but i like this! also that magic is fantastic, i can only imagine how long that took!

thank you. when you said about her arm i had to go back and look. i was like "sun of a B!@#$, wow i never saw that." never noticed that till now. thanks for pointing it out. her face was the only trouble i had painting. after that everything went smoothly. thanks for the comment.
